fitness suite circuit


  • Explain the physical activity you participated in. Today we did a fitness circuit, a circuit is when you have multiple stations, there 8 stations. They were bicep curls, Rowing, lunge jumps, cycling, Russian twist, berpees, medicine ball squats, agility zig zag. We did 2 rounds of 45 seconds at each station and 20 seconds on the last round, there was a 1 minute break after each round.
  • What level of effort and engagement were you participating at during today’s physical activity? Why? (Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria)I gave myself a merit because I always seek to improve my skills because I didn't really know how to do all the stations so I ask my friend how to do it, so it helped me improve my skills because I knew what to do. I also was always motivated and help my friend by motivating him saying that he can do it, so that he could do his best.
  • What were three factors which influenced your participation? (Choose from the list below, and put a + or - beside the three factors to show whether it positively or negatively influenced your participation). -Fitness , -injury/illness -previous experience
  • Explain HOW these factors affected your participation (with specific examples) Fitness affected my participation in a negative way was because I would get tired fast, For example when we did the lunge jumps I would get tired fast and stop and wait for the time to finish, this made me not want carry on and finish the circuit, but I still did it. Injury /illness affected my participation in negative way was because I was sick and had a block nose so it made it harder for me to breath and made me want to sit down and have a rest. Previous experience affected my participation in a negative way because I had never done some of the workouts before so it made it hard for me because I didn't know what to do, so it made me confused and not want to participate.
  • How could you increase your (or your peers) participation in this activity in the future? I think that next time I could increase my participation by coming to the lesson more mentally prepared

  1. I was interested to read your reflections of your lesson. How could you better prepare yourself mentally? You said that you found it hard because you didn't know what to do. How could you find out beforehand, so that you weren't so stressed about not knowing? I like the way you have focussed on yourself in your reflections with positive comments that you can do something about. I hope you feel better soon.
