- Explain the physical activity you participated in. Today we played volleyball, volleyball is a game where you have to hit the ball with your hands and get it over the net. In order to get a point it has to hit the opponents floor. You are also only allowed to hit ball once and only allowed to hit the ball 3 time around your team before hitting it over the net.
- What level of effort and engagement were you participating at during today’s physical activity? Why? (Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria) I would give myself a merit because I was one of the few people who set up the net being organised and prepared. I would also give myself a merit because I am new to the sport so I would learn from my friend on how to set so that I can become better. I would also give myself a merit because I would always work hard to get points and gave my best.
- What were three factors which influenced your participation? (Choose from the list below, and put a + or - beside the three factors to show whether it positively or negatively influenced your participation). - Friends/classmates - equipment +previous experience
- Explain HOW these factors affected your participation (with specific examples) Friends/classmate affected my participation in a negative way because when we were playing someone the people would leave and muck around making me not want to play more. equipment affected my participation in a negative way because the net was very hard to put up and it was a bit broken making me not want to play more. Previous experience affected my participation in a positive way because I hardly had played the sport before so it made me more eager to play.
- How could you increase your (or your peers) participation in this activity in the future? I think that I could increase my participation more by learning more moves and by improving how play so that I can be better for my team.

Projectile Motion
Projectile motion is a form of motion where an object or projectile is thrown into the air. There is 3 parts of projectile motion, Angle of release, height of release and speed of release. The angle of release is the the optimal AoR can vary, the average angle release is 45 degrees but in so activity like shot put there average angle release is 32-38 degrees. Height of release is the higher the release the longer and object will travel. The Speed of release is the greater the speed, greater the height and distance the object travels. The activity we did was a rubber band activity were we had to flick the paper in the air. We had to figure out the right amount of paper to use for the paper to travel, We had to figure out how to make create the most speed to make the paper travel more further and the angle to release the paper so it can travel longer.

Levers
The fulcrum is like the pivot point of the lever, the effort is the forces applied and the Load is the thing that needs effort to be applied.
There are 3 classes,
class 1 a example is an seesaw
class 2 a example is an wheelbarrow
class 3 a example is an arm
Lever I are used a lot in sports for example badminton, When you hit the shuttlecock with the racket your fulcrum is your hand, the efforts is your muscles in your arm used to swing the racket and the shuttlecock is the load.
In the activity we did we had to cut out and colour in shapes and had to label them, the green was effort the yellow was fulcrum and the purple was the load. We then had to shape them into each of the classes and then we had to explain why it was that class.

Force Summation
What is Force summation? Force summation is made up of 3 parts, but the all together is means adding forces together to create the greatest force as possible.
Describe the three parts of force summation? The three parts of force summation are range of motion, order of body segments and timing of body segments.
Range of motion is the greater the range of motion the greater force produced.
Order of body segments is when forces is transferred from the largest muscles, through to the smallest muscles.
Lastly is timing of body segments is when each body segment should be activated when the one before it has reached its peak.
Describe the activity we completed in the gym and how this related to force summation?
The activity we did in the gym was on the rowing machine we were giving a task to go step by step for a full row. We went from only using only our hand to using our full body. This activity showed us that the more motion we use it will generate more force. This activity used all parts of force summation like order of body segments, if you want to produce the greatest force we had to start from you legs and all the way up to your arms. if I started from somewhere else it wouldn't be the same.

200 challenge reflection
- Explain the physical activity you participated in. The physical activity that I participated in was an 200 challenge, we had to get into a group of 2, our challenge was to do 200 squats, 200 sit ups and o do 20 laps to the cone and back.
- What level of effort and engagement were you participating at during today’s physical activity? Why? (Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria) Today I thought that I would grade myself an merit. I gave myself an merit because I would always seek to help and improve my teammate, Like when he was doing squats wrong so I would have to show him how to do. I would also give myself an merit cause I was motivated to try and finish the full 200 and gave it 100% of my best.
- What were three factors which influenced your participation? (Choose from the list below, and put a + or - beside the three factors to show whether it positively or negatively influenced your participation). + sense of achievement + challenge -Fitness
- Explain HOW these factors affected your participation (with specific examples) Challenge affected my participation in a positive way because 200 squats and sit ups to me and I had never done that before so I thought that it was challenge for me to try and complete the full 200. Sense of achievement affected me in a positive way because as I said 200 was a lot for me and I thought I could do it so when we did it, it felt I had accomplished something and felt like I could do more. Fitness affected my participation in a negative way because I am really unfit so when I was doing the challenge I got tired fast and decreased my participation.
- How could you increase your (or your peers) participation in this activity in the future? I think that I could increase my performance by training more in my spare time so that next time I do challenges like this it will be easy.

Sepak Takraw
- Explain the physical activity you participated in. Sepak takraw is a famous sport played in the Philippines, it is a sport similar to volleyball but you are not allowed to touch the ball with you hands, you can only touch the ball with you feet, chest and head.
- What level of effort and engagement were you participating at during today’s physical activity? Why? (Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria) If I had to grade myself I would give me an merit. I gave myself a merit because I would all support my teammates by yelling mine, or Kori's, or Autymn name, so that they knew who ball it was and so we all didn't go for the ball at once. I also would give myself an merit because it was hard to kick the ball straight so I would try and find new ways to kick the ball and ways to return it so I could get better, and gave 100% of my ability.
- What were three factors which influenced your participation? (Choose from the list below, and put a + or - beside the three factors to show whether it positively or negatively influenced your participation). -Skill level +Previous experience -Equipment
- Explain HOW these factors affected your participation (with specific examples) Skill level affected my participation in a negative way because I wasn't really good at the game and couldn't kick the ball properly, so every time I kicked the ball it would go of into another direction and the other team would get a point. Previous experience affected me in a positive way because I had 0 experience of the game, so it made me more eager to play the game and learn something new. Equipment affect my participation in a negative way because some of the balls where flat and when we would tried and kick the ball it would it would bounce high and go over the net.
- How could you increase your (or your peers) participation in this activity in the future? To increase my performance I think that I need to try and get my team to learn new things so that they know of to play better. I also think that I need to find knew ways to improve my skills so that I can get more confident,
Newtons Law of motion
- Who is Sir Isaac Newton? Sir Isaac Newton is a scientist and philosopher who live around the 16 and 17 century. Sir Issac Newton is the person who created the laws for why things move and what cause its to move. They are called Newtons law
- Explain the 3 Laws? There are three laws which makes up the Newton laws of motion. The first one is called The law of inertia states that an object will be at rest or stay in a constant motion unless it is compelled by an external force. Law two, The law of acceleration, this law explains how the velocity of the object changes, so the law acceleration states that the greater the mass of an object the more force it will take to accelerate the object, Force = mass x acceleration (F=mxa) Law Three, The law of Action/Reaction, This law states that for every actions there is an equal and opposite reaction. For example imagine an trampoline, The action is you pushing down on the tramp and the reaction is the tramp pushing you back up the tramp.
- How did the game ‘inertia ball’ demonstrate Newton’s Laws? The game inertia ball demonstrated the newtons law a lot. The game demonstrated the law of action/reaction because when we threw the ball at the ball it would react and would bounce back to us. The game also demonstrated the law of inertia because if when we didn't throw balls and the moon ball is would stay in a constant motion going in its direction until it was hit by another ball. The game also demonstrated the law of acceleration because the amount of force on the ball depended the size of the ball, so when we threw the basketball we need more force to throw it because it was the ball with the most mass.

Ultimate Frisbee
- Explain the physical activity you participated in. Today we participated in a game called ultimate Frisbee. If you are not familiar with the game, it is similar to turbo touch. There are two teams you are not allowed to run with Frisbee so you have to try and pass the Frisbee to your team mates and have to try and catch the Frisbee in the end zone to score a point.
- What level of effort and engagement were you participating at during today’s physical activity? Why? (Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria) I thought today I would give myself an merit because I would always try and assist my teammates by passing it them all the time and setting them up for goals. I was also always motivated and reliable and would always work hard to get my team points and Gave 100% the whole game.
- What were three factors which influenced your participation? (Choose from the list below, and put a + or - beside the three factors to show whether it positively or negatively influenced your participation). +Previous experience, - Competition, - Environment, - skill Level
- Explain HOW these factors affected your participation (with specific examples) Previous experience affected my participation in a positive way because last year I would always play Frisbee with my friends so I knew how to play which made it easier for me. Environment affected my participation in a negative way because it was windy and when we passed the Frisbee it would sometimes fly somewhere else which made it annoying. Skill Level affected my participation in a positive way because I knew good techniques on how to pass the Frisbee, so I had the skills to pay the bills.
- How could you increase your (or your peers) participation in this activity in the future? I think I could improve my performance by helping my teammate more, like teaching them how to throw the Frisbee. I also think that I could improve my participation by catching the Frisbee better because sometimes I would drop it.
